Fee Structure and Rebates

I’m committed to making psychology services affordable, offering reduced rates and some bulk-billing options. Here's a breakdown of fees.

All fees are based on a 50-minute session.

Payment is due within 7 days of the session. Payment may be made by direct deposit, or card payment. Unfortunately, I cannot accept cash payments for security reasons.

  • Standard appointment

Standard (non-concession) sessions are $150, with $96.65 rebated through Medicare if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (leaving a gap fee of $53.35).

Without a Mental Health Care Plan, the cost is $150.

    Private health rebates may apply.

  • Concession card holders

Sessions are bulk-billed if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan.

Without a Mental Health Care Plan, the out-of-pocket concession fee is $96.65.

    Private health rebates may apply.

  • NDIS, DVA & Workcover clients

Sessions are fully covered if funding is approved for psychology services (service fee is set by the relevant service).

Please let me know if you’re under one of these programs and we can discuss the required information.

  • Professional supervision fee

Supervision sessions are $150 + GST and claimable as a professional expense.

    Cancellation Policy

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or non-attendance for a scheduled appointment will incur the full session fee. Please note that Medicare and health fund rebates cannot be claimed on cancellation fees.

If you have an emergency or unforeseeable situation (e.g. illness or family emergency), the fee may be waived on compassionate grounds.

    Rebates

To access Medicare rebates, you'll need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, which can cover up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

Private health rebates may apply if you don’t attend under a Mental Health Care Plan, and depend on your insurer and coverage level.
